Are you hungry?
You will find little here
Among the pesticide-filled corpses.
Shall you become a pest?

Are you tired?
You will find shadowy dark crevices here
If you know where to look,
If they survive the onslaught.
The monsters will ”tidy” this patch soon.

Are you thirsty?
There is plenty of water here,
If you can become a blade of grass.
Root yourself.
Do not move.
You will be protected by pesticides.
You will be mowed.
You will have plenty of water.
